My only disappointment from my trip to France a couple of years ago was the hotel where we stayed in Arles. I think I can remedy that next time with a visit to this one, Hotel Particulier.{images: hotel particulier}

We were in France 2 summers ago and stayed at La Maison du Paradou and Les Rosees (near Mougins) and I highly recommend both. If you don't stay at La Maison, I recommend making a dinner reservation at the Bistrot du Paradou that's right up the road from them...amazing food and a cheese tray to die for. A good website (which I suspect you may already know about) for perusing boutique hotels is www.chicretreats.com.
