Dear Matt and Mere,
Happy 50th Anniversary to Lilly Pulitzer! And congratulations on some of the best looking prints you've put out in a long, long time. As a recovering addict, this new collection may make me fall off the wagon.
Yesterday I bought a pair of jeans at the (sorta) new Madewell store at Lenox. It was absolutely the easiest jean buying experience I've ever had. Good fits, good colors, and plain pockets--because I am so over playing the designer jean guessing game. Guess I get that from my dad, a man who has been known to attempt to remove a certain embroidered polo pony from his shirts.

This year, my tights will be gray. I am especially inspired by the middle picture to pair them with my mustard corduroy skirt and my red patent shoes.
Well done, Miuccia. Especially love the printed, straight skirt with the simple top. I think I can definitely pull this one off.

Separates for night? In bright orange and pink? Sure! From Peter Som Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear at style.com.

I do love a little skirt + top + jacket combo. From Lela Rose Spring 2009 Ready-to-Wear, at style.com.

I had some time on my hands last Saturday night (my cable was out), so I found myself flipping through all my old issues of Domino. I loved these two outfits. Yes, I read it for the interiors and the people (and what they're wearing).
Such a lovely outfit, worn by Charlotte Casiraghi. I'm guessing she got those cheekbones from her grandmother.
"I, Laura, take thee, Michael Stars, to be my favorite t-shirt, to have and to hold forever, 'til death do us part."
Could there be anything better than a dressy white t-shirt? Only if it came in heather gray.
Let's just say I like to be comfortable. Ninety-five percent of the reason I love my job is because I get to wear scrubs to work. If my life was a bit fancier, this dress would be my idea of evening wear. From Vogue, by the label Osklen, described as"the line between fast urbanity and laid-back coasting", with "decidedly minimalist organza dresses and organic-cotton tees."

Currently, I am loving apple green (or fresh clover, according to j.crew) and blue, especially navy blue. Bedroom by Annsley Mcaleer, clothes by j.crew, and notecard by Linda & Harriett.
Found this cute outfit while flipping through the Barney's Co-op catalog. Jacket and top by Trovata, scarf by Virginia Johnson.
