I enjoyed this article about Anya Hindmarch from the September issue of Vanity Fair. She's one of those really cool people you wish you knew. And I loved this picture.{image: Simon Upton/The Interior Archive via Vanity Fair}

Such a perfect room. From Habitually Chic's post on stylist Lili Diallo. And more pretty things in her portfolio.
What, the title Wine and War, doesn't appeal to you? Well, don't let the word "war" scare you. My dad gave me this page-turner, about how the French saved their wine from the Nazis during WWII. And let me tell you, this recession sounds like a cakewalk compared to the German occupation.
Don't worry--this post isn't about Valentine's. It's about how much I love the Richmond home of Katie Ukrop. Seen in Domino (hold on, let me wipe the tears away--I mean, should I even link to their website since it's all going away?!?) last summer, I found some more pictures of it on This Young House. BTW, This Young House is a great blog and makes me feel like renovating an old house isn't such a bad thing.
Rococo by Adriana Trigiani is light, easy, and made me laugh out loud (and will do the same for all of you with any interest in decorating). A perfect escape for these less than perfect times.

I know I've said this before, but I love Giada. I've got her Winter Minestrone simmering on my stove, and I've been enjoying these pictures of her home from Architectural Digest. I especially love the kitchen set of her new show, Giada at Home.
I would love to have dinner here, in the new "barn" of Ina Garten. I would be fine just eating a bowl of her macaroni and cheese on one of those barstools. View the rest of the pictures here, from House Beautiful (found via Jane).

I love the shades of green used throughout the home of Heather Taylor, the guest blogger over at design*sponge.

Or at least this book will be on my bedside table, as soon as it is released in November. I'm itching to read something about the art world, especially after chatting with the adorable Emily Amy at her gallery last Friday (thanks for the tip, Millie).
Can't wait to dive into this one, before seeing the movie. This bedroom is from the amazing renovation by David and Tyler Colgan, in the September 2008 issue of Cottage Living.

So I saved the best for last: the Formentera home of Marni designer Consuelo Castiglioni. Photographed in 2004 for Vogue by Francois Halard. I can only imagine what wonderful clothes are hiding in that bedroom closet.

Some favorite images of the Nantucket summer home of Ashley Brittingham, by Jeffrey Bilhuber. Photographed for Vogue by Francois Halard.

I don't know if I'm stalking this fabric or it's stalking me, but it keeps turning up unexpectedly everywhere I look.

I love green, and I love how it used as an accent throughout the home of photographer Victoria Pearson. Her photographs, from the August 2008 House Beautiful.

On my bedside table these days is Brideshead Revisited, which I'm reading in anticipation of the movie release later this summer. I wish that this bed and these chairs, by Suzanne Kasler, were sharing the room with me and my book.
I just love this image: the girl, her outfit, the room, the blue, the sofa--all of it. Sofa from pure by amy mckay, via design*sponge
