I think the Sartorialist would agree that the ladies off the runway look as good as those on the runway at NYC Ready to Wear 2008. Now where is my navy coat?

I was so excited to find that my local Target now carries Soap and Glory. By Bliss' Marcia Kilgore, I love the goofy packaging. Good thing I was desperately in need of some new lotion and bubble bath.

I have always been a fan of Marc Jacobs' quirky but lady-like details. Reminds me of something you might pull out of your fabulous great aunt's closet. From his Spring 2008 Ready to Wear Collection.
I found this great post by A Little Sussy. It's a collage of polaroids by Grant Hamilton. Needless to say, my polaroids never looked like that.

I think the colors pink and orange allow for a nice transition from summer to fall.
I've never tried these bath potions, but I sure would love to have them displayed in my bathroom. Just so darn cute.
Maybe I should wear this to the first Georgia Tech football game tomorrow? Just kidding, of course. This isn't Gainesville, Florida. Really, I just love the picture and wanted an excuse to post it.Just a few quiet images of Florida's northernmost barrier islands. Sidney Lanier's "Marshes of Glynn" describes it better than I ever could. Except he doesn't mention my favorite sandals.
p.s. I know Glynn County is in Georgia.
p.p.s. I know Jack Rogers aren't the original Navahos, but I love them all the same.
It looks like I'll still be wearing white after Labor Day, especially if I can get my hands on this bracelet.BleuBelle, 205 West Broughton Street

From what I hear, General Sherman spared Savannah on his fiery march to the sea, and instead presented it to President Lincoln as a Christmas gift. I guess the General was planning on doing a little more shopping once he got into town. Great things for your closet, your home, and your bookshelf.
I think this dress comes in three colors; I'll take one of each. Perfect for my aversion to ironing.

My friend Heidi at work introduced me to the bookseller Bas Bleu. Their catalog always has great selections, and great reviews of the books. I'm always inspired when I can't decide what to read next. As for the chair picture, I think I'd rather be sitting there reading, instead of sitting here at work worrying about whether or not my house is clean enough for my mother-in-law's visit tonight!A few more pictures from Brad and Sarah's wedding. Please note the unbelievable sushi. Maybe they are enjoying some more of that right now in Hawaii.

While shopping in Savannah last weekend (more on that later), I ran across these litttle French perfume sticks, scented with vanilla and other treats. While they were a little sweet for my taste, the packaging alone made me want each and every one. The website is en Francais, but they are available from b-glowing.
