natsumi nishizumi

I have been feeling quite uninspired lately. But then, I found the lovely drawings of Natsumi Nishizumi (via Oh Joy!), and that has helped. Looks like she's putting together a nice calendar, too.

new calendar

In the spirit of Fall Fashion Weeks, I just bought this little calendar on Etsy. I found the cute little blog, Draw, Draw, Draw via Chelsea.

Yes, please sign me up for the GOOP newsletter, thus officially making the lovely Gwyneth my lifestyle guru. It's about time someone took the reins over here.

i love collages

On Ill Seen, Ill Said (she found them via Dear Ada), I found these wonderful collages by Shelly Kommers. Her blog is heaven for a girl who used to have a collage of Sports Illustrated images hanging in her bedroom in high school (Pete Sampras figured prominently).

hicks paper goods

How could you not love these invitations by Sara Hicks Malone? I found them via her great blog, Party Perfect.
P.S. Girls, I might just have to have a little holiday luncheon just so I can send that top invite.

how to take pictures

I loved the post by The Sartorialist on 18 August 2008, "Photography=Anticipation." Clearly, the man knows what he's talking about.

farmhouse wares

Some pretty things I found while browsing the farmhouse wares site, found via (the most tasteful advertising ever on) {frolic!}. Nice blog, too.

record the day

I am so inspired by these collages (?) I found on the blog Record the Day. Makes me want to buy some index cards and a date stamp and go to town.

Speaking of nice printed textiles, Heather Moore certainly holds her own that department. Check out her blog here.

french vacation

Roussillon en Luberon

Nicole posted some wonderful Polaroids from her recent trip to Paris and the South of France. This time last year I was there. You could say I'm a teensy bit jealous.

Lost in Blogland

yvestown

I'm scurrying around trying to get out of town (a little graduate school reunion in Chapel Hill), but I wanted to post these lovelies to explore more when I get home. Found via Ruby Press (and she found La[forgive the missing accent] via frolic!). Those Europeans have sure got some style.
